Decorate the Sidewalk

Fill the sidewalk in front of your house with doodles. You don’t have to think of inspiring messages. Make them funny. Make them happy. Make them cute! If you can’t think of anything to draw, think about our school songs. They are full of positive images to illustrate. My kids and I did this on a walking path near our house. Once we got started, we could hardly stop. The ideas just kept coming and we ended up doodling for a hundred yards! Several people thanked us as they walked by. It felt good to know that our silly pictures were giving them something to be grateful for. Parents, look for chalk when you are at the grocery store. Most places have it for cheap in the Easter section.
