Somewhere Over the Rainbow

I love rainbows because they give me something to look forward to after the rain. We have been having some beautiful rainbow weather lately!

Many children from all around the world are making rainbow pictures and sticking them in their windows or hanging them on balconies. People walking by can “hunt” for rainbows, or just take a moment to appreciate some lovely artwork.

Here is a video of me painting a rainbow using only primary colors. This kind of painting is very fun and soothing. It is the kind of work I learned to do by painting with my preschool friends everyday. You don’t have to use my technique. You can make your rainbow with any art supplies that you have at home. I hope you will join children all over the world in spreading hope and joy with a beautiful rainbow in your window!
