Stay Home, Make Art

This blog provides art projects and other art resources to students during the spring 2020 school closures.

Collage

When we make collages, we take several materials (like different pieces paper, pieces of cloth, photographs etc.) and combine them to create a new picture. It is fun to take something and turn it into something completely different. The results are always unexpected and exciting!

In this collage, the artist Juan Gris combined drawings, newspaper and wallpaper to create a picture of a table with dishes on it.

In this collage, Beatriz Milhazes created an abstract design using food wrappers, shiny stickers, and paint.
